Letter Re: Lynchburg Clerk of Court Race

The 6th District Watchdogs blog received this letter from Karen Foster who is currently in a fight to save her house from being illegally foreclosed on. Apparently this is a fairly widespread occurrence around the country.

Obviously, Mrs. Foster will not be voting for Eugene Wingfield and will instead be voting for his opponent Ron Irvine.

    Mr. Irvine deserves your vote and here is why. Mr. Irvine found what law enforcement, Mr. Eugene Wingfield, candidate for Clerk of Court and the Commonwealth Attorney’s office refused to find…he found that no “foreclosure” had ever been filed with the Clerk of Court’s office concerning an unlawful foreclosure that took place on my property in Sept 2008. With the current national spotlight being held on what these fraudulent foreclosures are doing to our economy, this incident has heightened my concern for the ethical values that seem to be emerging from these local offices. Mr. Wingfield and the Commonwealth Attorney’s office has done nothing but suppress this evidence of these “non-existent” filings and have intentionally discredited my complaint. The Citizens of Lynchburg City need to know how their elected and “pre” elected officials have addressed this sort of issue on a local level. Mr. Irvine literally with two clicks found this fraudulent foreclosure had not been filed properly and immediately instructed me to go to the Commissioner of Accounts. He has the experience and moral character to perform his duties properly in protecting the citizens of Lynchburg and their valuable life documents. As for me, my vote goes to Mr. Irvine!!! He is the right man for the job!!

    If you are a victim of predatory lending, mortgage fraud and other crimes of fraud…..SPEAK UP, RESEARCH EVERYONE INVOLVED IN YOUR DEAL.(Including your lawyer) AFTER YOU COMPLAIN TO THE Sheriff, COMMONWEALTH ATTORNEYS OFFICE, THE FBI, THE IRS, THE OCC, ETC. START and FINISH WITH THE RECORDS ROOM IN THE CITY OF LYNCHBURG AND BEDFORD.
